My health and wellness journey started with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Alternative Medicine. I found the subtle differences and similarities of Eastern and Western philosophy on wellness facinating . This education led me to dedicate myself to the practice, study and teaching of yoga since discovering its joys and benefits in 1996. My yoga practice is a blend of Sivananda, Ashtanga and Iyengar and Aerial Yoga techniques. I began to feel the transformation yoga had in my own life and felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. I received my 200-Hour Yoga Certification in 2001 and over the years have continued to study and obtain my 500-Hour Yoga Certification in 2015. I am currently and E-RYT 500 and lead 200-Hour Trainings and offer Continuing Education workshops for instructors.

I knew I wanted to marry my passion for yoga with Eastern philosophy of exercise. This drive led me to obtain my Health & Life Coach Certification through the Health Coach Institute. This learning allowed me to see health & wellness through a holistic lens. Being healthy means achieving a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being. Wellness isn't a box to check or a destination to reach. It's an ongoing journey toward a healthier mind and body. Whether I am working with health coach clients or teaching yoga classes or trainings, I strive to bring a sense of fun, freedom and kindness. I create an uplifting and safe environment for clients & students to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness.
